Governor Kitzhaber came back from Washington this week with good news for healthcare transformation in Oregon. $1.9 billion over five years will be available to the state to roll out Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations and transform healthcare. Locally, this gives impetus and some stability to efforts to integrate mental health, substance abuse and primary care for the Medicaid and Medicare population.

Program Manager (Uhlhorn) – Responsible for direct supervision, operation and development of Acquired Brain Injury program. Participates in program advocacy, networking, funding promotion activities and lobbying efforts related to program services. Prepares annual budget, oversees daily fiscal operation and ensures high quality services for program participants. Provides on-call and back up staff support services. MA/MS or BS/BA in program related field and at least two years experience working with people living with disabilities and ABI. Prior management and supervisory experience, budget management and development experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must demonstrate competency in understanding of ABI rehabilitative services, disabilities and non-profit management. A CBIS certification preferred. Full-time, Monday-Friday. Counselor/Advocate III (Brethren/Intra-Agency)

(BRE) – Support mental health consumers in supportive housing. MA/MS in behavioral science & experience in assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention & case management and clinical supervision. Must currently qualify to be credentialed as QMHP. Part-time 20 hrs/wk, $15.53/hr.

(Intra-Agency) – This position will support a variety of ShelterCare programs and provide clinical services as needed. The focus is on mental health assessments for new clients and annual assessments for continuing clients, development of strength-based individualized service and support plans, consultation and case management for program participants. The position also includes clinical supervision to QMHAs. MA/MS in behavioral science & minimum 3 years related experience required. Experience working with people diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities and prior supervisory experience is preferred. Must currently qualify to be credentialed as QMHP. Part-time 20 hrs/wk, $15.53/hr.
