Counselor/Advocate II (RAP) – Act as member of crisis team to provide supportive counseling/training. Requires crisis intervention experience, BA/BS in behavioral science or minimum 3 years related experience.   Must currently qualify to be credentialed as QMHA.   Sunday  day shift  7:00 a.m.– 5:30 p.m.,  Monday swing  shift  12:00 noon – 10:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday swing shift  5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.   $12.12/hr, F/T + benefits.

Peer Advocate (Supported Housing)

Peer Advocate (Supported Housing) - Provide an array of peer-based therapeutic supports to mental health consumers living in supportive housing.  The Peer Advocate position will be designed to fit the unique skills of the advocate in the areas of peer counseling, structured recreation, outreach support and being part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Requires familiarity & experience as a consumer with mental health services. Experience with a mental health advocacy group or as a peer counselor preferred. 10 hrs/week, Day Shift, may include weekend. $12.12 hr.

Requires computer proficiency. Must currently qualify to be credentialed as QMHA .  Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. $12.12 P/T.

Counselor/Advocate II/Team Lead (RAP) - Provide team lead supervision for portion of weekly shift on Saturdays and Sundays and act as member of crisis team to provide supportive counseling/training.  Requires crisis intervention experience, Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or minimum 3 years related experience.  Must currently qualify to be credentialed as QMHA.  Supervision experience preferred.  F/T 40 hours  Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 noon – 10:30 p.m. $12.12/hr. + $.32/hr. for team lead hours approximately
20 per week (may vary).

Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager - As the primary staff position for agency human resources functions, this position is responsible for providing oversight for benefits, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, recruitment, orientation, conflict resolution, and development, interpretation and implementation of agency human resources policies.  The Human Resources Manager provides supervision and direction to HR staff and coordinates closely with Fiscal Department staff to ensure that ShelterCare programs meet state and federal legal, ethical and professional standards.

The position requires a minimum of five years of progressively responsible related professional experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer competence, an understanding of office systems, accuracy and the ability to manage time well and organize systems and responsibilities.  This position calls for active respect for ShelterCare programs, participants and employees and requires a commitment to the mission and values of the agency.

Transitional Resource Counselor (HPP)

Transitional Resource Counselor – Provide case management services to households at risk of becoming homeless, including outreach services with households in the community. Work intensively with households to overcome barriers to housing stability; assess needs; develop action plans; coach in developing skills or follow through with goals. Assist with screening and assessment of applicants; perform intakes and required inspections; advocate with landlords, community organizations and agencies as needed; assess domestic violence and abuse issues. Perform out-take procedures and processes with households as they exit. Requires experience working with individuals/households who have experienced a period of homelessness; good communication skills; some counseling experience; good writing abilities; crisis intervention skills; awareness and understanding of the issues facing low income households in the community and ability to work with households toward developing appropriate independence and increased self-sufficiency. Requires Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or minimum 3 years related experience. F/T Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm $12.12/hr + benefits

Relief Counselor/Advocate I

Relief Counselor/Advocate I – On-call support to guide & supervise residents through the daily schedule of mental health facility. Requires high school equivalency & computer proficiency. Experience in mental health preferred. Must pass background check and qualify to drive agency vehicle. On-call/as needed for day, swing, or night shifts which can include weekdays and/or weekends. $9.15/hr.

Clinical Services Coordinator

Clinical Services Coordinator  – Administer clinical psychiatric services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assuring quality of care in a recovery-oriented secure facility. Supervise clinical staff; develop assessments and treatment plans; provide individual & group therapy. Provide intake assessment for potential residents and coordinate disposition for resident discharge. MA/MS in behavioral science required plus SPMI mental health experience preferred.  Participate in program development.  Our model of care is trauma informed and strengths-based.  Must be familiar with OAR’s; able to obtain immediate QMHP certification.  F/T exempt + benefits, with on-call rotation.  $3,163.46/mo equivalency.  Monday-Friday.

Relief Cook – Prepare and serve meals, clean kitchen, shopping and menu planning at residential mental health programs.  Requires Food Handlers card and ability to lift 50 lbs. On-call/as needed which can include weekdays and/or weekends. $10.15/hr.
