Peer Advocate (Supported Housing) – 2 Positions – The Peer Advocate works within the ShelterCare Supported Housing team, providing services to adults with mental health disabilities living in the community. Acts as part of a services team, facilitating support groups, providing individual support aimed at enhancing mental health recover and stability, and assisting with crisis intervention. Must qualify for Peer Support Specialist credential. Requires experience as a mental health consumer, or with a family member who has received mental health services, and the ability to use these experiences to support others in recovery. P/T, 14 hrs./week, schedule TBD. $12.12/hr.
