Counselor/Advocate II (Uhlhorn) – Make a difference in the lives of adults challenged by acquired brain injury. The Counselor/Advocate II is responsible for guiding and assisting disabled adult consumers with basic life management activities for independent living as well as implementing individual goal plans and monitoring/passing medication under the supervision of the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor.  The Advocate/Counselor II participates as a member of the treatment team and accurately and clearly documents the consumers’ behaviors and development toward their goals. Requires a BA/BS degree in behavioral sciences. Must currently qualify to be credentialed as a QMHA. F/T, Tuesday – Saturday; flexible hours. $12.12/hr. + benefits.

Community Health Worker (Shankle)

Community Health Worker (Shankle) – The Community Health Worker (CHW) works with individuals with a high level of chronic or acute medical needs who are referred from ShelterCare programs serving those who have experienced homelessness and have a major psychiatric disability. The CHW helps participants identify health improvement goals; develops plans for achieving those goals; and supports individuals as they navigate care systems. Documentation and data collection are critical to the success of this program. The CHW will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Requires BA/BS degree or three years’ experience in health care or social services. P/T, 16 hrs./week; schedule is flexible. $12.12/hr.

Counselor/Advocate I (Supported Housing) – Provide mental health treatment and support services to adults diagnosed with a psychiatric disability in a supportive housing setting. Assist and support consumers with money management, socialization activities, community navigation, shopping, cooking skills, and other areas of support as assigned. Experience in mental health preferred. The Counselor/Advocate I participates as a member of the treatment team. Requires high school diploma or equivalency and computer proficiency. F/T, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. $9.90/hr. + benefits.

Assistant Manager (Shankle)

Assistant Manager (Shankle) - The Assistant Manager provides program administration and staff supervision for ShelterCare’s Shankle Safe Haven residence. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the quality of services provided to clients and fosters a strong team. Duties include but are not limited staff supervision, scheduling staff and relief staff, covering shifts as needed, overseeing on-site food services, providing direct services to residents, crisis intervention, and ServicePoint data entry. F/T, Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. $17.65/hour + benefits.

Lead Therapist (Supported Housing) – 2 Positions

Lead Therapist (Supported Housing) 2 positions - Provide mental health treatment to adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness in supportive housing.  Provide clinical and performance supervision to Skills Trainers and Peer Support Specialists.  Provide individual and group therapy.  Provide crisis intervention and referral as needed.  Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.  Assess efficacy of treatment on an on-going basis.  Participate in consultation and ensuring client entitlements.  Requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral science.  Must be computer literate. Requires experience working with people with SPMI.  Supervisory experience is preferred.  Must currently qualify to be credentialed as a QMHP.  Full-time Mon.-Fri. 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM., $18.00/hr equivalency +benefits.

Housekeeper (Garden Place)

Housekeeper (Garden Place) Responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions inside Garden Place Residence including: general housekeeping and cleaning, reporting unsanitary and unsafe conditions to clinical staff, and handling and processing potential biohazard contaminated materials and clean contaminated areas in accordance with applicable OARs.  P/T,  20/hrs week.  Days and hours are negotiable/flexible or Monday through Friday,  07:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., $9.35/hr.

Nurse/Counselor (Heeran Center)

 

Nurse/Counselor (Heeran Center Residence) – Responsible for guiding and supervising residents through the daily schedule and treatment program of the facility, medication management training and education and quality control.  Must meet the following competencies:  communicate effectively, understand mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology and ability to apply the concepts; provide psychosocial skills development and implement interventions prescribed in a Treatment Plan.  F/T, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., $4,333.50/month equivalency + benefits.

Counseling and case management in the Homeless Medical Respite Program.  Participate as a member of team providing services to homeless individuals in respite care connecting with housing and medical services.  BA/BS in behavioral science or minimum 3 years experience in social service field/mental health field.  Computer proficiency required.  P/T, Days TBA, 20 hours/week.  $12.12/hr.
