At our last board meeting, Board President Wendy Dame (right) accepted grant funds from The Oregon Community Foundation volunteer Carmen Urbina (left). These funds will be used to support our Center for Program and Services. Thank you so much for your support.
Last week ShelterCare staff and clients volunteered at S/E Habitat for Humanity. This year ShelterCare's Consumer Council has focused on giving back to the community through volunteer opportunities. These opportunities not only give a chance for our clients to give back but help build daily living skills and self confidence.
ShelterCare is inviting the public to add a splash of color to their new Center for Programs and Services building in the Whiteaker. With instruction from artist Valentina Gonzalez, contribute to each step of the mural-making process.
